Discover new ways to Challenge Efficiency at ISH 2019

ISH is one of the world’s leading trade fairs focusing on the responsible management of water and energy in buildings and will be held this year in Frankfurt (11-15 March). SWEP International is taking the opportunity to present the latest brazed plate heat exchanger (BPHE) innovations. SWEP will be introducing new products and software designed to optimize comfort and tap water heating solutions.
Visit SWEP in hall 11.0, booth D92.

SWEP’s highlights include:

sealixIntroducing Sealix® technology – extra protection for tap water systems
SWEP will launch its innovative new Sealix® technology for drinking water applications. Sealix® is a revolutionary silicon-based thin-film technology (SiO2) that protects surface of the BPHEs. It significantly reduces the risk of failure and maintenance costs for tap water applications by mitigating fouling, scaling, and corrosion –common challenges in these applications. Visit our booth to see how the technology works.

Expanded capacity for demanding heating and tap water applications
SWEP’s new larger-capacity product range for demanding heating and tap water applications includes the B320HT and LT and the B220. A key feature of the range is its two-stack functionality for flexible thermal length. Using two plate patterns in one BPHE enables its thermal length to be optimized, expanding capacity.

Heat pump range compatible with many refrigerants
To meet the growing global demand for increased energy efficiency, SWEP will present their high-performance product range for heat pumps. Compatible with refrigerants R32, propane, R452B, and R454B, the range includes the B85, B86, and compact B8LAS. It is the perfect choice for high-efficiency tap water heating and premium condenser applications. This technology is suitable for demanding heat transfer requirements, offering optimized heat transfer and reduced hold-up volume.

b649Unparalleled performance for HVAC and district heating
SWEP’s largest BPHE, the high-capacity B649, delivers unparalleled performance, low maintenance, and compact design. This saves on spare parts, space, energy consumption, transportation, and installation. The B649 has been specially developed for applications that demand close temperature approaches at high operating pressures.

It is the ideal solution for district heating and cooling networks, HVAC, and industrial projects that need an efficient but compact BPHE. Visit SWEP’s booth to see and learn more about this impressive BPHE.

sspg8A completely new interface for SWEP’s industry-leading selection software
You can easily find the right BPHE solution for your unique needs with the new G8 release of SWEP’s industry-leading SSP software, which helps you build and optimize your system. Two of the many exciting new features are the home menu (which also offers a quick-look information portal) and a combined calculation window for both two- and single-stack models. The calculation window improves selections where both thermal length and pressure drop are important. Dual evaporator calculations enable uneven load conditions to be simulated.
