Compressed air dryers are designed to remove moisture from compressed air in many different industries where it can power, process and control equipment with optimal productivity, I.e. food and beverage production, pneumatic automation, air tools, spray painting, PET blow molding, and air dusters for cleaning electronic components.
Avoid humidity and equipment damage
A common problem in compressed air systems is the condensation of humidity. In a typical system, the compressor draws in humid air and compresses it, which raises its temperature cooling the air condenses water vapor cooled along the pipes, and then expanded water droplets are formed, to cause corrosion, wash away lubrication oil, freeze when exposed to cold and cause considerable damage to the equipment using the air.
Integrated separator in a modular design
To avoid water condensation in a pneumatic system, an air dryer can be installed to cool down the compressed air to a temperature above the freezing point of water; down to 3 °C, which causes the moisture in the air to condense out. The condensed liquid is taken out of the system with separators.
Our unique Air Dryer with Integrated Separator (ADWIS) units and dual-over-two-pass (D2P) configurations is an excellent choice for air dryers.
Refrigerant-to-air and air-to-air heat combined
ADWIS combines an efficient separator with a refrigerant-to-air heat exchanger and an air-to-air heat recovery unit sandwiched in a modular design with high drying efficiency and performance. This cost-effective solution offers stable pressure drops, convenient drainage and simple installation.
