Industrial air compressors are designed to deliver a stream of compressed air, while maintaining durability needed for steady manufacturing productions, I.e., pneumatic automation, air tools, spray painting, PET blow molding, and air dusters for cleaning electronic components.
Keeping outlet temperature to an all-time low
Air is heated whenever it is compressed and can easily reach 100 °C in an oil-lubricated compressor, and 200 °C in an oil-free compressor. Using compact brazed plate heat exchanger technology reduces the outlet temperature to the optimal working temperature in oil-lubricated screw compressors.
Temperature and corrosion control
In oil-lubricated screw compressors, oil lubricates and cools the moving parts, and cools the air. SWEP brazed plate heat exchangers are used in both oil and air coolers and for heat recovery purposes. Our copper-brazed units are suitable for all oil types operating at up to 95 °C, and our stainless-steel units are an excellent choice when working in corrosive environments where oil contamination by copper at high temperatures must be avoided and maintenance kept to an absolute minimum.
A fit for all oil type purposes
SWEP heat exchangers are used in oil/air coolers and for heat recovery.
Our copper-brazed units are suitable for all oil types operating at up to 95 °C and include the B60, B30 and B35T, as well as our 100% stainless steel units.
